Great Fire 350

Last weekend saw a series of art events to mark the 350th anniversary of the Great Fire of London. Highlights of the weekend included Martin Firrell’s ‘Fires Ancient and Modern’, which was projected onto the external dome of St. Paul’s cathedral, and David Best’s 120metre long sculpture of London which was set alight on the Thames on Sunday evening.

Events have been documented on the Great Fire 350 website in collaboration with Artichoke, visitlondon.com and the Museum of London. Many of the exhibits and associated performances and tours continue until the end of September and beyond.
