Our relationship with Yorkshire Sculpture Park has now been ongoing for 25 years, with this years projects including the installation of ‘Poppies:Wave’, ‘Caro in Yorkshire’ and ‘Henry Moore: Back to a Land’ .
Working together with our sister company MA-CO, Mtec coordinated, shipped and installed Ursula Von Rydingsvard’s installation in the Giardino della Marinaressa at this year’s Venice Biennale. The installation has been documented in a film, and we have been lucky enough to receive a glowing endorsement from Manager of Sculpture and Estates, Alan McKenzie as a result of our involvement in the project (both of which are featured below).
We look forward to continuing our relationship with the park for many more future projects and thank them for taking the time to write such a recommendation for us.
‘I would like to thank both Mtec and Ma- co Italia for ensuring that the installation was completed on time and to budget.
Although we have had a long standing relationship with Mtec, this was the first time we had worked with Mtec and MA-CO Italia jointly and it certainly proved to be a great success. The professionalism, efficiency and flexibility of the two companies clearly demonstrates that this is a highly successful marriage of two great organisations.
The installation had to take place when the groundwork contractors were undertaking a major re-landscaping of the garden and I do not believe that it would have been possible to deliver this project on time without Mtec and Ma-co Italia.
I look forward to working with both companies again in the very near future.’
Ursula Von Rydingsvard’s work in the Giardino della Marinaressa can be seen until Nov 22, 2015.
