Art Fair Overview – Frieze & FIAC 2015

October, as always, has been one of our busiest months so far this year. With numerous responsibilities at both Frieze and FIAC, we have been busy transporting and installing works, firstly at Frieze Sculpture Park, and then in the Jardin des Tuileries the week following.

This year the highlight of Mtec’s involvement at Frieze has been in the Sculpture Park, which has been curated by Clare Lilley from Yorkshire Sculpture Park.Continue Reading…


Elmgreen & Dragset, Powerless Structures Fig. 101. The Fourth Plinth.

‘Powerless Structures Fig. 101’ by Elmgreen and Dragset is a sculpture of a boy astride his rocking horse. Cast in bronze, the work references the traditional monuments in the square, but, with its golden shine, it celebrates generations to come.

The sculpture is 4.11 metres high and 4.32 metres long and weighs 3.1 tons. Installed by Mtec.©
